I am providing midwifery care for your out of hospital birth in the Southern West Virginia and southern Virginia. I am a Certified Professional Midwife, licensed in Virginia, Delaware and Maryland. I specialize in normal, unmedicated childbirth, to healthy low-risk women. I provide safe home birth at your home or mine. I offer Water birth and consultation to those hoping for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). I am a trained, Diet & Life Style Counselor and I have been trained in the simple art of natural home remedies.

I educate families with the information to make the best decisions for their pregnancy and birth, and to support women in trusting in their body’s innate wisdom to birth babies. I have a deep respect for families and babies and the natural birth process. I believe women should have their babies where and how they feel safest. A person’s birth should be honored and supported as a sacred transformation for mothers, babies and families.
